3D render of a dental X-ray unit

You do not need to travel to another city for a dental X-ray. We take four types of images in the clinic: 2D panoramic X-ray (OPG), 3D CBCT scan, small periapical X-rays and cephalometric X-ray. It takes a few minutes, and you get the images right away to take with you or send to your dentist.

We also take X-rays for patients of other clinics.

Questions about dental X-rays

Can I come in just for an X-ray, without a check-up?

Yes. We also take X-rays for patients treated at other clinics.

How long does it take?

A few minutes. You get the images right after the scan.

Is the radiation harmful?

The dose in digital dental imaging is low, and a 3D CBCT scan has a lower dose than a conventional CT scan. If you are pregnant, let us know in advance.

In what form do I get the images?

In digital form, right after the scan. You can take them with you or send them to your dentist.

What is a cephalometric X-ray and who needs it?

It is an X-ray of the head in profile. It shows how the upper and lower jaw relate and where the teeth are, so it is taken before treatment with fixed braces. It is most often requested by an orthodontist.
